36th Week

It'll be my 36th week of pregnancy on Sunday, June 26. It means it will only be two weeks left before we would be able to see our dear daughter ChiChi. I'm excited and at the same time hopeful that everything will do well for me and my baby. A month before, she was in breech position.  Right before birth, most babies are in head down position in the mother's uterus. Sometimes, the baby is in a feet first position. When a baby is in that position before birth, it's called a breech position. That is the reason why my OB Gyne recommended that I undergo a Caesarian Delivery. I am OK with that as I am really afraid of giving birth vaginally. I'm afraid of the pain of labor. However, just two weeks ago, I had my BPS or ultrasound and it now shows that my baby is already in the "normal position" (head first). My OB said we would still try to see if I can undergo "normal delivery" and if  everything else fails, undergo Caesarian delivery. To be honest with you, I am half hearted. I know most mothers prefer giving birth the normal way as it's safer, less expensive and the time of recovery is shorter but I'm having reservations. Considering that I am obese, I am already kinda "old" to be a first time mom and I do have Gestational Diabetes - I'm having doubts if I can have a normal delivery at all. But God has his plans and I since I have already committed my life to whatever His plans are, I would not fear anymore. Come what may. I just pray that if I need to undergo labor, I would be able to delivery through normal delivery. I don't want to undergo labor but still end up having Caesarian. Oh well, I don't want to stress myself anymore in thinking what will happen on July 10 (the day my OB will induce me). I know and believe that God will protect me and my baby and everything will be just fine. Will update you.
