Mom At 36!

Hello Everyone!

I would like to share with you my adventures as a mom through this blog.This is very special to me since being a mom is my ultimate wish. I and my hubby has been together for 12 years and for almost 8 years now, we have been longing and wishing and hoping and working very hard so that we can have a child, but we failed. I had PCOS and he had issues with his sperm cells. We almost gave up since we are not getting any younger anymore and the possibility of me being pregnant are getting slimmer year after year. Until one day, that one very special day when finally God heard our prayer. It's that day I've found out that I will be a mother soon....

I will share with you how I knew about my pregnancy on my next post.

Optimistic

I woke up at 10 AM earlier. Yesterday, I had my laboratory and it costed us P1,500 for all 5 tests. It's cheap considering it's 5 lab tests but I don't know if all of those tests are really neccesary. MyOB wants me to get all kind of tests and ultrasounds available. Would you believe that I had a total of 8 ultrasounds in my 9 months of pregnancy? It's really OA and it hurted our budget a lot. But of course, I know she wants the best for me. Maybe she's just super "meticulous" and super "caring" and she want's to make sure everything is doing OK with me and my baby. I feel super lazy nowadays. 36th Week

It'll be my 36th week of pregnancy on Sunday, June 26. It means it will only be two weeks left before we would be able to see our dear daughter ChiChi. I'm excited and at the same time hopeful that everything will do well for me and my baby. A month before, she was in breech position.  Right before birth, most babies are in head down position in the mother's uterus. Sometimes, the baby is in a feet first position. When a baby is in that position before birth, it's called a breech position. That is the reason why my OB Gyne recommended that I undergo a Caesarian Delivery . I am OK with that as I am really afraid of giving birth vaginally . I'm afraid of the pain of labor. However, just two weeks ago, I had my BPS or ultrasound and it now shows that my baby is already in the "normal position" (head first). My OB said we would still try to see if I can undergo "normal delivery" and if  everything else fails, undergo Caesarian delivery. To be honest
